Agreements created on AgreeMint are structured to be legally valid under Indian law. E-stamping and Aadhaar eSign — which make agreements fully court-admissible — are coming soon. Until then, you can create, share, and download a signed PDF agreement.
E-stamping replaces physical stamp paper with a government-recognised electronic certificate. Aadhaar eSign lets both parties sign digitally using their Aadhaar-linked OTP — legally equivalent to a wet signature under the IT Act, 2000. Both features are currently being built and will be available soon.
Stamp duty varies by state, property type, and lease duration. AgreeMint shows you the applicable rate for your state as a starting point and lets you confirm or override the amount before payment. The stamp duty is collected and remitted in full — AgreeMint does not take a cut.
